  3. Respect: It’s for Everyone

MEA is launching a campaign to improve the work environment for all its teams. Abusive language, violence and intimidation will no longer be tolerated.

The message is clear: everyone deserves respect. MEA President Robert Roy affirms, “From port employees to office employees to operators, we are all driven by the same mission: to support the Canadian logistics chain in the best possible conditions. Respect and kindness are essential to wellbeing in the workplace.”

With indoor and outdoor signs at the ports of Montréal, Contrecoeur, Bécancour, Trois-Rivières and soon in Hamilton, as well as on the dispatch line, MEA wants to prevent and curb violence, while helping people who feel the need to make their voices heard.
